Water temperature is adjusted with a small lever on the side of the tap and can be limited with the use of a small enclosed accessory – saving energy and cutting the risk of scalding. The scratch-durable GROHE StarLight chrome finish looks dazzling for years to come. With less skin contact, it’s also hygienic and very easy to clean. This advanced mixer is simple to install – it only takes a few minutes – and the pre-settings are optimised for most ceramic washbasins and personal preferences. Cleaning mode is easily activated by covering the bottom of the sensor with a thumb, which temporarily locks the water flow. Combined with the GROHE Remote Control (36407001), additional settings are available, including automatic hygiene flushing and thermal disinfection. The solid brass body is built to last and the touchless technology uses low-energy electronics so the batteries last seven years – even if the mixer is used 150 times a day!
